Officers were called to the ramp at 800 Marquette Av. S. at about 4 p.m. Thursday on a report of a stabbing, according to police spokesman Sgt. Steve McCarty. They found the woman there, stabbed in the midsection. She was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center with noncritical injuries.
The suspect is described at a white male, 30 to 40 years old, 5 feet 9 to 6 feet, with a thin build, short brown hair, a receding hairline and eyeglasses. He was wearing a dark suit, blue shirt and a black bag with a shoulder strap.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 612-673-3357 or 612-673-3705.
