St. Louis man charged in execution-style triple killings in Brooklyn Park
Brooklyn Park Police Chief Michael Davis discussed the arrest of Eddie Matthew Mosley for last month's triple homicide.
A St. Louis man has been charged in the murders of a Brooklyn Park daycare provider and her elderly parents in what authorities believe was a botched effort to find a teenager who accused him of rape.
Eddie Matthew Mosley, 34, is charged with three counts of second-degree murder. He is being held in Wright County in connection with another case charging him with raping a niece last year. Bail has been set by Hennepin County at $3 million.
DeLois Brown and her parents, James Bolden Sr. and Clover Bolden, were each shot in the head on April 9 at Brown's home day care on College Park Drive.
Police said Mosley believed the teenager stayed with Brown before she went to school, and he went there to kill her. But the girl was no longer going to Brown's home.
Mosley's defense attorney in the rape case didn't immediately return a message Monday seeking comment.
All the victims were shot with the gun's muzzle pressing against their head, the criminal complaint read, citing the findings of the medical examiner's office.
