VIRGINIA, Minn. - Police in northeastern Minnesota are seeking a 40-year-old man in the alleged abduction of his estranged wife.
Virginia police say Timothy Caskey (KAS'-kee) allegedly pulled up and forced 44-year-old Roberta Lynn Caskey into his pickup Thursday night.
Roberta Caskey was walking with her 9-year-old son and another woman at the time. A police report says Timothy Caskey also assaulted Roberta Caskey's son and friend.
The Mesabi Daily News reports ( http://bit.ly/nCOAfJ) Roberta Caskey's cell phone was dropped at the scene. Neither she nor her husband has been seen.
Timothy Caskey had been released from a Duluth jail the same day. Roberta Caskey has a protection order against him.
Police have not issued a formal warrant for Timothy Caskey. He was driving a red/maroon 1991 GMC Sierra pickup, with Minnesota license NFX-316.
