Minn. Senate leaders deflect questions on sex scandal

On Friday, Republican state Senate leaders made clear they just didn't want to talk about Michael Brodkorb and former Senate Majority Leader Amy Koch.
In the face of repeated questions from the media, Senate Majority Leader Dave Senjem and Deputy Majority Leader Julianne Ortman said they would leave the issue of the ex-employee fired after Koch stepped down last year to their lawyer. Koch was confronted about an affair she was having with Brodkorb before she resigned. Brodkorb was fired from his job the day after she resigned.
On Thursday, Brodkorb's attorneys said they plan to depose both lawmakers and staff who had had affairs to prove his case that he was wrongfully dismissed.
