Hairs found on 2 Oakland County child killer victims have same DNA profile; 'tremendous breakthrough'

Arch Edward Sloan is serving two life sentences out of Wayne County for first-degree criminal sexual conduct. The offenses happened in 1983 and he was sentenced in 1985.

The Oakland County prosecutor announced today that hairs found on two victims of the Oakland County Child killer matched the DNA profile of a hair found in the car of a known pedophile at the time. “There may very well be a living perpetrator of these crimes,” Prosecutor Jessica Cooper said.
