Wisconsin: Racine man replaces family's stolen presents

A Racine family whose presents were stolen from under their tree is having a merry Christmas after all, thanks to the efforts of a local businessman.
According to the Journal Times of Racine, a thief entered Caylie Cunningham's home through an unlocked door while she was out. The stolen presents included gifts for her 7-year-old daughter and 2-year-old son.
Scott Petersen read a story about the theft in The Journal Times. He has kids of his own, and said he couldn't stop thinking about Cunningham's children.
So he sent each child a gift-wrapped present, and he also gave their mother $500 worth of Walmart gift cards.
Cunningham said Petersen's generosity brought tears to her eyes.
