Duluth, Minn. --A 25-year-old man is missing in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, according to the Cook County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities say Ty D. Sitter of Janesville, Wis., was last seen fishing in a canoe by himself at 7 p.m. Thursday on Swan Lake. His party reported him missing shortly after midnight Thursday.
Cook County Search and Rescue is searching for Sitter and has established a staging area at Brule Lake. Anyone with information about Sitter's location is asked to call the Cook County Sheriff's Office at (218) 387-3030.
